I was suffering from pain in my stomach and was diagnosed to have a large cyst. It is called as Endometroisis cyst around 12 cm in size and in my hometown I was advised that I need to undergo surgery. My mother was suffering from abnormal bleeding at the age of 65 yrs and told by doctor to have an ultrasound
It was detected that her uterus linning has become thick and one sample has to be taken.My doctor advised to go for uterus removal surgery but i was afraid of it. Then our family doctor recommended Dr kusum as she does laparoscopy surgery which is less painful than open surgery. I visited her and got my mother laparoscopic hysterectomy done. It was a very good experience as my mother was scared so much but actually she was walking and ready for discharge next day only.

When I visited Dr. Kusum, Which was a month back, I was in a horrible shape mentally and PCOD wise. My hormones and stress levels were causing a lot of uneasiness. Dr Kusum made sure to hear me out without rushing, definitely that was an amazing approach. She will not rush into any diagnosis, she will give you ample time to understand and then process. I consulted Dr Kusum for post menstrual spotting. I had gotten my Ultrasound done from somewhere else and needed followup on that.
She was very patient and did an examination. Then a hysteroscopy was suggested which was to be an inpatient procedure.
I changed my mind about that 2 days later and told her that I felt it was too hurried a decision especially since it was to be done under anesthesia. She did not try and force me into the procedure. Infact she suggested an alternate option for the issue as the first step which was an endometrial biopsy. She did that and it was painless though people told me it could be slightly painful. That spoke a lot of her expert hand.
We will now discuss the next step based on the result.
It's good to meet a doctor who works with the patient based on their comfort.

I went to Dr.Kusum with complaints of heavy menstrual bleeding of my aunt. We got to know about Dr. Kusum as she is trained from the best institute ie. AIIMS. She was very polite and patiently heard about the problem. Thereafter, she explained to us about the cause of bleeding and suggested us the surgical treatment. My aunt underwent total laparoscopic hysterectomy and she was back to work in just 4 day. The doctor was very supportive throughout the process and even the surgical scar is nearly invisible. We are highly thankful to her.😊
